Literature XII

  1. No good
  2. Three good points— that Jesus is the Word, that AA is a good place for spiritual growth, that the Old Testament is the beholder of ancient deep truths.
  3. Two points— dropping out of school so that I could learn more, that Thomas Aquinas was basically the author of modernity.
  4. Success in work creates more work but a person can only accomplish a finite amount of work
  5. In depth, up close vision of 2024-25 Huskers
  6. Trying to address the Lost Generation writers with a complete lack of vision
  7. Lack of value in post-modernity
  8. A horribly immature account of climbing mountains
  9. No good
  10. Immature account of uneventful trip to Sandhills
  11. A dismissal, disavowal and total misunderstanding of Vietnam
  12. No good
  13. Abstract dissertation on relevance of truth and tradition in post-modernity
  14. Black magic in prose
  15. Unsuccessful Serious self-reflection
  16. Idyllic adventure turned insightful masterpiece turned the secret to the universe : junk. This is a bingo if I’ve ever seen one.
  17. Ideal memento to McCarthy.
  18. No good

All within a sliding scale of a simpleton half-wit drifting in the matrix.

The first question is,

Is it valid?

The second question is,

Is it enjoyable?

Then we have the questions of,

Is it true?

Finally, is it good?

Apparently—it all “works”.

So does a horrible patch job.

Right, so—16.

It’s basically..

The ideal appreciated.

The ideal disillusioned.

The ideal doomed.

Naturally. 🥔

What I am attempting is :

The Ideal Controlled.

My writing could probably be divided into three categories

The ideal.

The ideal disillusionment.

The ideal doom.

Going on a limb here

Black magic in prose

Is ??

The ideal controlled??

Bring order out of the chaos.

There are two completely different parts of writing. One is the technical and the other is the inspiration.

Now, both are necessary for the “craft”.

It reduces the work to natural compounds—very near to the composition of mental disease or paralysis.

It’s all very nearly shit then?

What’s this fiction?

Can the classified plebian learn the “craft” of writing?

Can the classified plebian learn the “craft” of anything?

Mr. Sportsman, we shall see..

We shall see.

Bring order out of the chaos..

That is all.
